Thanks for your efforts in listing down these KM Professionals in one place.
I would like to recommend adding @romasha - Romasha Roy Choudhury to this list.

Thank you for pulling together the list. From an information organizational perspective, it would be useful to know more information about their expertise by topic and not just the broad, sweeping category of "knowledge management."

Patrick - I'm honored to be included on the list. Stan Garfield has a great handle on the comings and goings of KM, only one of many reasons we did a podcast interview almost 2 years ago on the ins and outs of KM in his work.

It's interesting, and I feel like an idiot for only noticing this in the last year after having done a lot of KM work for either law firms or legal departments of larger organizations over the last 10 years or so... it finally occurred to me why lawyers "get KM." Collecting and re-using = precedents! It's the basis of the legal profession! Discourse and debate to keep refining the previous knowledge - well, yeesh, no wonder lawyers get KM!

Of course the challenge to all of us then is... how can we get OTHERS to live it, breathe it?

Perhaps a new year's resolution for 2009? I'm up for it!

Cheers,
